The EBA published a new consultation paper on draft regulatory technical standards on the disclosure of the investment policies of investment firms. This newest draft RTS zooms in on the information that investment firms (IFs) have to disclose publicly so that stakeholders understand the investment firms’ influence over companies which they have voting rights in.
This applies to class 2 investment firms with > 100 million EUR in total assets. Next to that, the paper also states that the impact of investment firms’ policies on elements such as governance and management of those companies they have voting rights in are publicly disclosed.
